The underlying principles of the volume solution for a sports centre can be considered the optimal interaction with environment and an ascendant form of the building that becomes a part of the surrounding landscape. An inclined surface of the roof under maintenance becomes continuation of the pedestrian direction, thereby creating an inviting gesture for visitors. The roof represents a ramp with entrance apertures to the building and can be regarded as an excellent observation platform, allowing not only to admire beautiful vistas, but also to watch the games of soccer and golf played at the nearby fields.
